The Little Guide To DBT Mindfulness Skills [E-Book]

DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) is a powerful therapeutic approach to complex trauma recovery, BPD recovery, emotional regulation problems and much more. DBT training consists of 4 main modules:

  • Mindfulness (The focus of this guide)
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills
  • Emotional Regulation
  • Distress Tolerance

I started creating this guide whilst completing my own course of DBT as a way to learn, visualise and remember the core mindfulness skills in a way that actually worked for my brain. From there, the guide grew to include the journal prompts I used when practicing each skill in my daily life, and the journal entries I made – now my guidance for putting the skills to use.
